The coloring pages and coloring craft sheets will keep the kids occupied in the hectic days before and during the holidays. That was a great idea for Holidays season.
Staying home on New Year’s Eve seems to be getting more and more popular as the cost of spending the night out regardless of what you do can end up costing you some serious dollars. On a special night like New Years Eve why not spend it at home with the special people in your life.
If you have a large yard or better, if you live in the country, you may purchase some of the best fireworks and run a great show before midnight. If your area allows it, you may even organize a bon fire, where all your guests can write down on a paper stuff they want to get rid of for the New Year and let them burn in the fire as they speak out their resolutions. Just be careful and practice extreme caution when handling fireworks.
The most romantic thing you can possibly do is put your loved one first and demonstrate that you care enough to cater to your lover’s mood. If you sense that your loved one has little desire to enter the throbbing masses on New Year’s Eve, why not plan a quiet night of romance? Cook dinner, buy a fancy bottle of wine (get a wine connoisseur’s advice if you’re lost) and go where the evening takes you. Perhaps plan a midnight picnic of wine and cheese overlooking your community fireworks display.
Do whatever you would do on a night you would spend home to have a nice evening. When I was younger, it was a big deal to “celebrate” the new year. Then as I go older, I thought, celebrate for what? Another year of working, trying to make ends meet and coming up shout more often than not, the world crime getting as bad as it is, paying taxes, etc…..so just try to enjoy a nice quiet evening. What really is the big deal with the date. It changes everyday. So what if it is a new year. So, if you like to read…then read, if you want to watch a movie and have hot chocolate….then do that, if you want to do your nails….do that….whatever is going to make you happy for the evening. Not only that, your much safer these days to stay home….there are way too many drunks out on the roads that night. It’s not worth getting hurt or killed. Have a very nice night and be safe.
