In my family, we like to make a few new ornaments each year for the Christmas tree. Last year, I uploaded the mandala Christmas ornaments and this year I have found these great angel Christmas coloring sheets that would make fabulous Christmas ornaments.
By 1890, Christmas ornaments were arriving in America from Germany and the Christmas tree became popular in the United States. In the early 20th century most Americans were using homemade ornaments on their trees. Popular homemade ornaments included popcorn strings decorated by being dyed bright colors and laced with berries and nuts. The German-American sect continued to use apples, nuts, and marzipan cookies.
If you are a crafty family, make a different ornament together every year. Put them on the tree or give them as gifts. If you make a different ornament every year, don’t forget to put the kids’ names and dates on somewhere. When your kids are grown, you can give them all of their ornaments in a box to decorate their own tree.

LSU is really setting the gridiron on fire this year! Their next game is tonight at Ole Miss and will be shown on ESPN starting at 6 p.m. Central Time.
I just added an Ole Miss coloring page to go along with the LSU coloring pages. These are great for keeping the kids happy (and busy) during the game.
Also check out my other football coloring pages for more fun.
